Questions owners ask us
Does Genie write the note for me?
It drafts it. Seconds after the session ends, a draft waits in the chart. Genie may ask one question, never more than two, and quotes the line it heard. You review, edit and sign, and signed notes lock.
Is our clients’ data used to train AI?
No. Protected health information is scrubbed, and client data is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s. Recordings and transcripts are held inside the platform. Practices pay for Therapist Genie®, which is what makes that promise possible.
Do we have to use Microsoft 365?
Yes. Therapist Genie® is built inside Microsoft 365, and that is where the sign-in security, Teams video, Microsoft Outlook scheduling and file storage come from. A basic plan is enough, you license it from Microsoft, and Microsoft 365 Copilot is optional.
Can we keep our note format?
Yes. A practice brings its own note structure, and clinicians can keep their own preferences on top of it. SOAP, DAP, EMDR and EMDR intensive formats are available today; EFT and couples formats are in development.
What’s ready today?
Everything on this site is available today: notes, scheduling, telehealth, the client portal, intake, communications, payments, payroll, insurance billing, supervision, consultation, groups, reporting and the Copilot connector. Next on the roadmap: payroll that runs itself through ADP, and search across the whole practice.
