The clinical work, in one record.

Typical EHR: electronic health recordThe software a practice keeps its clinical records in: charts and notes, and often scheduling and billing too. experience: notes pile up until Saturday, and supervision hours still live in a separate tracker.Note Genie drafts the progress note from the session, assessments are scored before the session, and supervision, consultation and groups live in the same record as the care.

Note Genie writes the first draft.

A clinician adds one sentence to a drafted note and clicks Sign and Save; the note shows Note Complete and the signature line.

Real draft. Demo data.

The session ends, in Microsoft Teams or in the room. Seconds later a draft note is waiting in the chart, in your note format. You review, edit and sign; nothing is automated to completion.

  • Asks a question or two only when it needs to, with the timestamp and the verbatim line it refers to. Most sessions need one question, never more than two.
  • Adapts to the clinician: an intern gets open questions, a practitioner gets choices, an expert gets the finished draft to review.
  • SOAP, DAP, EMDR and EMDR intensive formats today, plus intake notes and templates for KAP, CBT, ACT, DBT and IFS work. EFT and couples formats are in development.
More about Note Genie
  • Every note carries an executive summary, and the reasoning behind a draft can be opened and read.
  • Fix one sentence without losing the rest: you revise rather than rewrite. Signed notes lock, and location of service is captured on every note.

Assessments, scored before the session.

A GAD-7 score trend with a hover tooltip, then the latest result, 9 of 21, scored automatically.

Real product. Demo data.

PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL and adverse-childhood-experience measures are built in and scored automatically, with results in the record before the session.

  • Assigned per person, so you can send an instrument to one partner in a couple and not the other.
  • Signature authority is explicit: a couples consent records both partners; a minor’s consent records the responsible party.
  • Withdrawing a signature is its own recorded event, and a client can re-affirm a document in one step.
More about assessments and consents

Renewals are raised before they lapse. Expiry rules set per state are in development.

Supervision, inside the record.

A supervisor signs a group supervision note; the signatures panel shows the supervisor signed and the supervisees waiting to sign.

Real product. Demo data.

Supervisees, consultees and their hours live in the same system as the clinical work, so nothing runs on calendar invites, PDFs and chased signatures.

  • Supervisee records, board-ready notes and group credit from attendance.
  • Dual signatures in the system, and hours tracked against the rules of the state each person is licensed in.
  • Consultation is its own engagement type, individual or group, with its own agreement and note, so consultees are never entered as clients.
More about supervision and consultation

We are not aware of another electronic health record (EHR) that does all of this (as of September 2026).

Groups and intake, handled once.

A client types a signature on a consent form in the portal and submits it.

Real product. Demo data.

A group is defined once and scheduled in one action, and one group note lands in every attendee’s chart.

  • Intake runs from a booking link with reason for visit, consent and insurance, and the intake fee is charged up front.
  • Assisted intake drafting and a readiness checklist before the first session.
